Refusing to buy the often repeated argument that Ottawa is somehow less style savvy than those other larger cities we all know, friends and partners Ashley McConnell and Justyna Baraniecki are working hard on developing a different pitch. These two transplanted go-getters have combined a love of fashion with their obvious creative talents, and have just kicked out their first ever edition of The Dinner Jacket, an enviro-friendly online magazine. Resolved to put Ottawa on the style map, they have challenged us all to “throw off our Smart Set blazers in exchange for a dinner jacket”.
