Mission complete

Following through on the cupcake mission really wasn’t too difficult to fit in -despite a very busy schedule lately.

I even managed to find a partner in crime who  was willing to sacrifice some very rare free time to accompany me.  Last weekend, the two of us stopped in for a healthy breakfast at the world famous Newport Restaurant and then ventured over to The  Candy Store for an Ottawa Cupcakery double chocolate with butter cream delight.

Anyway, we both bought our cupcakes to go and left the store with an enticing package to carry for the remainder of the day.

Later, with a cup of tea steeped, the cupcake unpacked and my new Domino Magazine in hand,  I was ready to fully indulge.  Just before digging in though, I snapped a few photos.  See for yourself how appealing cupcakes can be!

My apologies for not reporting much sooner, but have been experiencing some unfortunate technical difficulties.  Thanks to my friend Bill the Nerd for helping me out!  My favourite green machine is all fixed up now and back in working order…

Sort of. I drove by very recently while dropping off a colleague who lives over that way, came home to Google it, and promptly forgot. I guess maybe I’ll have to try it soon! Thanks for the reminder, and stay tuned. I will no doubt write a report! :)
